The Middle East

Kuwait - since the inauguration of the Bird Monitoring and Protection Team (BMAPT), their new website has been launched http://www.bmapt.com .  BMAPT is an integral part of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society (KEPS), the long-established and legally-registered body which, it is hoped, will become the Kuwait affiliate of Birdlife International in the near future. This is an important new development in the Environmental Protection and Conservation of the Avifauna of Kuwait.

Mapping

Any ringer interested in making maps of their recoveries and controls should visit the Versamap website from where you can download a  free thirty day evaluation version.
Another very useful programme for mapping is DMAP for windows distribution mapping software.
